Product Description
It's the little extras that make all the difference. That's why the new Lumia range comes with a raft of great new accessories.
Wireless charging plates that don't need cables. Wireless speakers that just need a tap from your phone to connect. Swappable shells that add special features to your phone. Stereo headsets and more.
Get the music you love wherever you go - and now without the wires.
Our new range of portable JBL speakers don't just have clear audio and deep bass - they're also NFC enabled with Bluetooth connectivity. So there's no need for wires or connectors. Just tap your phone against them and your phone connects. Then stream your music seamlessly.
The range also includes speakers that double up as wireless chargers. So when you touch down your phone, its battery charges up.
The JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker for Nokia combines the know-how of two brands famous for amazing acoustics and dynamic design. The result is a truly unique alternative for home stereo systems, which comes with special features for smartphone owners.
To bring the highest quality audio experience possible to our consumers, we partnered with legendary acoustics brand JBL to design our latest Nokia Accessories speaker range. It was a natural fit – Nokia and JBL’s shared passion for quality audio, spirit of innovation and fascination with form combined to produce some amazing products, like the PowerUp.
We’ve made smart use of Digital Sound Processing (DSP) technology and drivers capable of impressive loudness levels.
A wide spectrum of frequency ranges deliver balanced and realistic sound reproduction as the original artist intended.
PowerUp’s low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) levels supply high fidelity sound without unwanted distortions. And special apt-X codecs ensure CD quality sound even over Bluetooth (wireless) connections up to 100m. The result is a compact and beautiful speaker packed with powerful audio.
Not only does the JBL PowerUp connect with any product offering a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth or Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities, it’s also “Qi” compatible providing wireless charging through its top surface.
Whenever an object is held over the top of the speaker, a proximity sensor activates “landing lights” to signal the area where a device can be recharged. The lights go off when not needed. This is part of the Fabula design which takes away any distraction.
While charging, smartphones will continue to play music, can be used normally and users are free to remove the device at any point without any sort of playback disruption.
Nokia Lumia smartphone owners will enjoy an even smoother connection and accessory control experience thanks to a special menu found in the Settings app of their device. Appearing after the initial device/accessory connection, the Nokia Accessories listing will offer them various ways to create default settings and interact with their speaker.
